Loren Miller

Loren Miller is a Pensacola-based painter grounded in classical figurative traditions. Drawing on studies at SCAD and Florida State University, along with an apprenticeship under Edward Jonas in Tallahassee, he works with an observation-driven approach shaped by both academic training and mentorship. Inspired by the Gulf Coast’s landscapes and wildlife, Miller creates oil and mixed‑media paintings that emphasize light, atmosphere, and quiet restraint. His coastal wildlife and figurative works share a classical sensibility, focusing on character, mood, and the subtle relationship between subject and place.
